Lovely stay in the cottage. The thick walls kept the heat out. Great location and we enjoyed Hay-on-Wye.

Such a lovely house and clearly well kept throughout the year. We thoroughly enjoyed lazing out in the garden and walking near the hills to see the most spectacular views. Hay-on-Wye was the perfect picturesque town. We also love the name 'Tarzan' - a fitting name for a fluffball pomeranian!

Mill Cottage was the absolute best. Joanna and Tarzan were incredible hosts. The kids loved playing in the stream and walking the Black Mountains.

Lovely to stay at The Mill Cottage with such a lovely location and so much character. Great to access the festival and to go back to a cool place in the heat of a sunny day.

Wonderful stay at Mill Cottage. We loved Hay-on-Wye and walked there every day over the fields. The cottage is very homely and we had everything we needed. Thank you for a lovely stay!

How lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the stream! Convenient for Hay, just a short walk - our 20 month old Oscar loved it.

Only disappointment was that we missed Selwyn, the neighbour joining us for an evening tipple in the sun. We look forward to returning and recommending Cusop Mill Cottage to friends and family. This house is in a perfect setting. Very close to the centre of Hay but also a wonderful starting point for fantastic walks. Joanna and her husband were incredibly helpful and kind, including giving me a dog lead when i lost ours. They were very relaxed about us arriving later than we’d said and gave us very good directions to find the house. It’s a very pretty place.

A perfect location - close enough to Hay on Wye but far enough for peace and tranquillity. Clean, well appointed and comfortable.

We had a lovely stay in Joanna’s cottage . The bedrooms are all neat and well laid out . There is a front garden and rear enclosed patio space . The property is well kept and clean and the owners occupy the building next door so are on hand with any queries . Located a ten minute walk to town and nestled into a lovely valley it was very secluded and quiet . Perfect place for a family .

We had a lovely time exploring the area, walking the countryside and shopping in Hay. We even enjoyed a Christmas service at St. Mary's Church five minutes walk up the hill. The area is beautiful, the cottage is well equipped and comfortable, and our family loved every minute of our stay. Thank you for a Christmas to remember.
