This was Cusop Mill Cottage in our December snow. It only lasted 4 days which was just enough to enjoy it without finding it a nuisance.

We have had a lot of snow but the cottage is very cosy and at least it has not lasted for too long so maybe a white Christmas. Roads now passable and the Black Mountains now white!

Hay Festival has a literary week end 22nd-26th November. www.hayfestival.com/winterweekend . Cusop Mill Cottage is still available. There are plenty of events with celebrities such as Monty Don, Jeremy Vine and Jeanette Winterson and the Welsh Opera but in addition to these the Christmas lights are switched on 24th November (Oxford Street is nothing compared to this!) Food Festival 25th November, local produce all very tempting and Hay does Vintage and Retro 26th November.
